Data Processing and AI Use Notice
Virava Auto Content uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help you write articles. This page explains which steps AI is involved in, what data is sent, and what you need to check yourself before publishing. In the plugin interface, these steps are named after the task (“Suggesting ideas”, “Drafting article”, etc.), but they are all performed automatically by the system.
1. Where AI is involved
| Task | What AI does | What you control |
|---|---|---|
| Suggesting ideas, preparing information | Proposes lists of ideas and keywords and fills in article creation information according to the direction you enter. | You select, edit and approve each idea before creating an article. |
| Research | Summarizes reference sources. When the “Virava – Rank Checker” extension is paired, it uses real Google results read by the extension in your browser; otherwise, it uses the AI provider’s search source. | Turn the extension on/off; the article log clearly records the sources used. |
| Search intent, outline, drafting, SEO editing | Analyzes search intent, creates an outline, writes a draft and edits it according to your brand information. | Articles are delivered as a draft / scheduled / published immediately according to your choice; you can edit them in WordPress. |
| Illustrative images | Creates illustrative images based on the article topic. Your logo can be stamped onto the images. | Choose the image source (automatic generation or your Google Drive library), or turn images off. |
De-duplication: the plugin performs a preliminary match against existing articles directly in your WordPress site, after which the system (using AI) assesses the degree of duplication. Steps that do not use AI: layer-1 technical checks (slug, images, article information), content cleanup, credit calculation, article delivery.
2. AI provider and data sent
- Virava currently uses Google (Gemini API) models for text and images. The provider may change; this page will be updated when that happens.
- Only what is necessary for each step is sent: brand information, ideas, keywords, notes, reference materials you enter, and the results of previous steps.
- Passwords, connection keys, payment information and data about your website’s visitors are not sent.
- The Virava server stores the results of each step and AI usage figures (number of tokens, number of images) for credit calculation, and does not store the verbatim prompts sent to the AI.
- Wiwi does not use your data to train AI models. The provider processes data under its API terms of service and may process it outside Vietnam. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
3. Limitations of AI-generated content
- AI may write false statements, fabricate sources, use outdated figures or misunderstand your products. The system has a content-checking step and flags claims that need verification, but this cannot replace your own review.
- For medical, legal, financial and safety content: an expert must review it before publishing.
- Automatically generated illustrative images are not real photographs. Do not use them to depict real people, places, events or products as if they were real photographs.
- A request rejected by the AI provider’s content safety filter is stopped permanently, is not charged credits and cannot be continued; please adjust the content and then create a new request. If an illustrative image is rejected by the filter, the article is still delivered, with fewer images.
4. Transparency with your readers
- Do not present an automatically generated article as written by, or reflecting the experience of, a specific person when that person has not edited or confirmed it.
- The plugin has an option “Display a note about AI-assisted content” (Settings → Default publishing, off by default). When turned on, the line “This content was drafted with the assistance of AI tools.” appears to readers at the end of articles created by Virava. The note does not state that the article “has been edited”, because the system does not know whether you have reviewed the article.
- This optional note does not replace the transparency and AI-generated content labeling obligations that are mandatory under law; those obligations are handled separately and cannot be turned off with the option above. If the platform or the law applicable to you requires more, you are responsible for labeling when publishing.
- Virava supports SEO optimization but does not guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue.
5. “Run on site” mode
If the administrator turns off server mode and enters their own Gemini key in Settings, article drafting is performed directly from WordPress to Google using your own key; the data does not pass through the Virava server and is subject to the terms between you and Google.
